The network activities support the Project Management, training, standardization and liaison activities, and dissemination - concertation vis-à-vis user communities. Emphasis will be placed on interacting with researchers and similar activities in Europe and worldwide and in providing input to standardization bodies.
NA1: Project Management
This activity is responsible for the administrative and financial
aspects of the project.
NA2: Building and Consolidating the User Community
This activity will identify potential users of the FEDERICA
infrastructure and gather their requirements. It will also liaise with
other EC projects and research activities that wish to take advantage of
the FEDERICA facilities.
NA3: Standardisation and Liaisons
This activity will liaise with, and contribute to standardisation bodies
such as the ITU-T, IETF, OGF and IPsphere Forum. It will also liaise
with other relevant initiatives (e.g. GN2, GENI, LHC and Grid) to
develop infrastructures suited to the needs of those communities.
NA4: Dissemination and Training
This activity will maintain the FEDERICA website, produce publicity
material, organise workshops, and promote the project at other relevant
events. It will also provide training for the FEDERICA users.
